Ingleborough mountain which is one of the famous Yorkshire Dales three peaks, also the second highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales. Today was my fourth visit to the mountain and I met up with Rodger. Initially I had some time restrictions and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do the full walk, but once up there I decided my work would have to wait for another day.
This route from Clapham is one of main four, the others being Ingleton, Horton in Ribblesdale and another over the nature reserve from Chapel-le-Dale. (There is also another less popular route up from Park Fell Simon Fell).
We parked up at the car park off Church Avenue but sometimes you can be lucky enough to get a parking spot by Clapham Beck. I can’t remember how much it was but I remember it not being too hefty.
